Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes how Beer Craft Gear handles refunds for returned items. Please also review our full Return Policy for information on eligibility and the return process.

Refund Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, your returned item must meet the conditions outlined in our Return Policy. This includes:

  • The item must be returned within 90 days of the date you received it.
  • The item must be in new, unused condition, with all original packaging, documentation, and accessories.
  • The item must not be a non-returnable item (personalized items, custom items, and shipping and handling charges are generally non-refundable, as detailed in our Return Policy).
  • You must have obtained a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from our customer service team.

Refund Process

  1. Return Initiation: Contact our customer service team to initiate a return and receive an RMA number.
  2. Return Shipment: Follow the return instructions provided by customer service, including properly packaging the item and including the RMA number.
  3. Receipt and Inspection: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria.
  4. Refund Approval/Denial: We will notify you of the approval or denial of your refund.
    • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within [Number] business days (e.g., 5-10 business days). The exact timeframe may vary depending on your bank or credit card issuer.
    • If your return is denied (e.g., due to damage, missing parts, or not meeting the return conditions), we will contact you to discuss options. A restocking fee of up to 25% may apply to items returned in a condition that does not meet our return policy.

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different card or payment method.

Shipping Costs on Refunds

  • Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, except in cases where we made an error (e.g., shipped the wrong item) or the item was damaged in transit (and reported to customer service immediately upon receipt).
  • For returns of orders that originally qualified for free shipping, a shipping charge equal to the actual cost of the original shipment will be deducted from your refund.
  • Return shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer, *except* for eligible returns shipped via UPS, as outlined in our Return Policy. Return shipping for LTL (freight) items is always the responsibility of the customer.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us.
